BitDefender Announces Beta Release of Security Protection for Microsoft Windows Vista

Beta versions of BitDefender’s stand-alone anti-virus product lines will also be made available shortly, and Vista-compatible versions of BitDefender Antivirus, BitDefender Antivirus Plus and BitDefender Internet Security are set to be fully released in January 2007, at the same time as Windows Vista is released for consumer use. Upgrading to the Vista-compatible version of a BitDefender product will be free for all BitDefender users, trial users and subscribers.

As one of the most anticipated pieces of software in years by consumers and businesses, Microsoft Windows Vista is also expected to be one of the biggest targets for hackers and cyber criminals.
