BitDefender Internet Security Launched

BitDefender announced today the launch of BitDefender Internet Security, a security package aimed at the home/soho markets which includes antivirus, antispyware, antispam/antiphishing, parental control and firewall modules.

The new parental control module included sports handy features such as web time limiting, a chat blocker and real-time web censoring, while the firewall module has been entirely rebuilt, and now supports "stealth mode", custom ICMP responses, pass-through packet filtering and protocol-based filtering among other things.

The suggested price for one license is 64.95 euro, and availability is immediate, from the BitDefender website.
